I will be out on the water again as a Captain on private vessels and I will have another boat soon for private my use.

Fishing is great off Stuart so let me guide you to another good boat with a good Captian and fishing mate to go out on.

Our Dolphin Spring run was late this year not starting in April but in late May thru most of June and was really some great fishing for Dolphin. A 49 pounder in late May with nice fish in June and even now in the warm July water last week we had one at 34 pounds with many gaffed over 20 pounds.
The sail fishing had been on and off last month but has improved recently and still a good shot of bringing one or two to the boat for a release thru the rest of the summer. Last august in 2010 on two half days we had 3 releases at the boat for 5 sails on and the following charter with 2 releases out of 3 fish on.
We had a good Cobia run in April and May just off the beaches and a shallow hump just 3 miles off our coast produced almost a daily catch of the Cobia.
We hope the Dolphin bite continues some thru the rest of July while targetting Sailfish and other game fish here off Stuart Florida.
Summer is fun with flat sea conditions making it easy for the whole family.
Come join us on the Hungry Bear.

Although the good sailfish bite has slowed since early February with last weeks trip of 6 sails on and 5 released at the boat we see or get a sailfish on every trip out. Cobia along the beaches and on the wrecks which are more abundant now and on our last trip we had a nice 50-60 pounder only to be eaten by a huge bull shark in the back of the boat. Tomorrow we hope to hook cobia, possibly some dolphin and get a shot at a sail again. Our inshore reefs are also producing kingfish and then there is always bonita which we don’t target but are fun to pull on.

Don’t just think about a charter on the Hungry Bear experience it. PLEASE CALL 772-285-7552

This month with the exception of just a few days has been great with the sailfish and our live bait offshore St. Lucie Inlet is showing up on more of a regular patern giving us the opertunity to live bait or troll. The bait offshore Stuart should keep the sails around and continue into February making it productive for sails next month as well.
Our dolphin fishing has been rather good for this time of the year with a few to be gaffed and decent size schoollie dolphin 7 or 8 pounds for some nice eating.
Our weather patern has improved has improved now with the cold fronts coming down more mild and less wind keeping down our sea conditions making most everyday fishable.
Come on and give us a all and get offshore and enjoy Florida’s great fishing just offshore Stuart.. 772.285.7552

Still some dolphin to be caught offshore as well as kingfish on the inshore reefs with other game fish we don’t target like the rod bending Bonita which are also fun to catch. Call us and and have a great time out fishing.

December 21st tomorrow the fist dat of Wintwr will be a little ruff getting out to fish with another cold front coming down. The sailfish just North of us should be out front od St Lucie Inlet.
The dolphin fishing has slowed down somwe what but could pick up again as another group of fish run south to warmer water. The Bonita and kingfish we don’t target are usually around to bend the rods.
